Monmouthshire Housing Association has launched its new resident self-service app powered by PanConnect, a software solution from Housing Insight.
Dedicated to providing quality housing and services to its residents, MHA decided to work with Housing Insight to develop an app to enhance tenant satisfaction and offer an engagement solution for residents.
The app will empower residents to gain easy access to essential services, such as managing rental payments and scheduling home repairs.
Emma Gallo, Business Improvement Project Manager at Monmouthshire Housing said that the decision to launch the app came in response to resident feedback and that residents were embedded into the development process.
We are delighted to be launching our new app and would like to say a big thank you to all the residents involved throughout the process. From its initial conception, through to the testing stage; their ideas and feedback have been instrumental in the creation of MyMHA.
Maintaining our excellent customer service, whilst enhancing our residents’ experiences is important to us and our residents. Residents told us they wanted to access their rent account and schedule a repair at a time which suits them; MyMHA provides a seamless, personalised experience, that is both user-friendly and easy to use 24/7.
Thank you must also go to PanConnect who have successfully helped deliver our app aspirations; helping ensure the app fits with the needs of the business and our residents, both now and for the future.
The project took seven months to complete, with Housing Insight providing valuable insight and technical guidance throughout the process.
Feedback from initial testers has been overwhelmingly positive, with 27 tenants having tested the app so far. This initial response suggests the app will be a hit with residents and streamline otherwise time-consuming and inconvenient processes.
Chief Executive of MHA, John Keegan also said this about the recent launch
As society and technology evolve so does MHA, we put a lot of thought and effort into picking a company that will give MHA a Tenant App that will be easy to use and accessible for people who don’t use technology very often for example.
We can see that service at your fingertips is part of the present and the future and we were delighted to work with Housing Insight, who have developed the best App to meet our needs and those of our tenants. We firmly expect tenants to use the technology for many years to come and we look forward to developing its use further with Housing Insight in the coming years.
Housing Insight, Chief Executive, Nas Hayat mentioned that
We’re proud to partner with Monmouthshire Housing, an organisation that is listening to the needs of its residents and empowering them through our resident engagement solution. Our user-friendly app will make important communications between resident and housing provider slicker and simpler than ever before, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact over the coming months.
The app is set to be available on the App Store and Google Play on June 3, with a soft launch planned for June 17. The full launch will come on July 1, when all residents are invited to download and use the app.
